The S24A-QM87 is not only another Touch Panel PC, it is a Full HD Rugged Touch Panel PC designed for a Marine environment. The processor supported is the Intel 4th Generation Mobile Core i5-4400E 2.7GHz coupled with up to 16GB DDR3 memory. The IP66 protection rating allows the S24A-QM87 to work under harsh conditions and is reliable at temperatures ranging from 5°F ~ 131°F (-15°C ~ +55°C). The 24" 1920x1080 Full HD 300 nits 5000:1 Flat-bezel multi-touch Projected Capacitive Touch screen has a wide viewing angle (178°/178° ) and was constructed to be usable in outdoor environments.

The S24A-QM87 accepts two 2.5" drives that can be used in RAID 0/1 configuration and there is also support for iRIS Remote Management Module. Three independent displays is possible thanks to VGA, DVI-D, HDMI ports. There are two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports for accessories or peripherals. There is also one DB-9 RS-232 (non-isolated) and four DB-9 RS-232/422/485 (2.5KV isolation protection). Two RJ-45 GbE LAN ports are standard and support teaming support (2KV isolation protection). Two CAN-bus 2.0B, 3-pin terminal block (2.5KV isolation protection) are also standard. The S24A-QM87 has an isolated 9V ~ 36V DC 3-pin terminal block to accept power and can be mounted in various methods, such as Panel Mount, Ceiling Mount and Desktop Stand Kit (Optional).
