The RMS116 rack mount chassis is a highly adaptable 1U enclosure designed specifically for space-constrained installations utilizing a Mini-ITX motherboard. Its standout feature is a fully reversible design, allowing the motherboard I/O ports to be oriented toward either the front or rear of the chassis to suit diverse cabling and access needs.
Complementing this flexibility, the rack ears can be fitted to both the front and rear, enabling secure mounting from either side.
Serviceability is further enhanced by a swappable power supply that can be relocated to the front panel location, alongside a tool-free HDD cage that supports both 3.5" and 2.5" drives for quick storage changes. To ensure quiet, reliable operation, the chassis accommodates up to three 40mm PWM fans equipped with anti-vibration mounts, minimizing noise and protecting sensitive components in rack environments.
