The RuggON PM-311B is a Fully Rugged Windows Tablet configured with an Intel Celeron N2930, 1.83GHz processor and 4GB DDR3L system memory with an option for 8GB. As for storage, it is available with a 128GB/256GB SSD or the optional 128GB FIPS 140-2 Level II SSD. The 1000 nits 7-inch WSVGA has a resolution of 1024 x 600 and multiple capacitive touch with Gorilla glass. The RuggON PM-311B is MIL-STD-810G and is drop resistant up to a 5-foot drop. For added durability the front panel offers an IP65 rating and an operating temperature of -4°F to +122°F.

A Front 2MP camera is standard along with a Rear 8MP AF with LED flash. There are two USB 3.0 type A, a single RJ-45 (10/100/1000), one RS-232 an audio jack, Micro SD slot, Micro SIM slot, speaker and microphone and a 32-pin docking connector. Also standard are NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, optional BeiDou) and Bluetooth V4.0 + EDR. 4G LTE is optional along with an MRZ reader+ MSR 2-in-1 module and a 2D barcode reader + MSR 2-in-1 module. A 2900 mAh, 7.5V battery powers the unit and there is an optional 4200 mAh , 7.4V, hot swappable available. As for added security, the RuggON PM-311B offers TPM 2.0, optional fingerprint reader (capacitive type, 508 dpi) and an optional Janus USB Ignition Key, Phoenix SecureWipe.
