The RuggON PM-521 is an Rugged Windows/Android Tablet consisting of a 10.1-inch 1920x1200 WUXGA, 1000 nits sunlight readable LCD. Supporting a 10-point capacitive touch screen with glove touch, water rejection, palm rejection, 2mm hard tip stylus and Gorilla Glass3 with a digitizer by request. This unit is IP65 with MIL-STD-810G and can withstand a 5-foot drop. An Intel Atom processor E3827 1.75 GHz is used as well as 4GB DDR3L with the option for 8GB. Data storage is possible by using the standard 128GB mSATA SSD that is expandable to 256 GB or the 32GB mSATA SSD (Android only)

The operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +50°C and comes standard with a 4500 mAh, hot swappable which lasts 6 hours or the optional 9000 mAh, hot swappable; battery operation for a total of 12 hours. A 2MP, 5MP AF with LED flash is standard equipment. The RuggON PM-521 has one USB 3.0 type A, one USB 2.0, one RS-232 and a Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45 ).
