BSI is introducing the Intel Q370 Chipset and will be available in two Motherboards

BSI is introducing the Intel Q370 Chipset and will be available in two Motherboards, the Supermicro X11SCQ Micro ATX and the Supermicro X11SCV-Q. These Motherboards come in a smaller form factor and so will be widely used in our 1U and 2U systems such as the RMS106. These systems are frequently used in Industrial settings where slim profile systems are needed.

The specifications for the Supermicro X11SCQ Micro ATX Motherboard are support for 8th Generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron Processor and a maximum of 64GB un-buffered non-ECC UDIMM, DDR4-2666MHz memory. The Intel Q370 controls six SATA3 (6Gbps) ports and can be configured with RAID 0,1,5 and 10. Expansion is possible by using the PCI-E slots; there is one PCI-E 3.0 x16, one PCI-E 3.0 x1, and two PCI-E 3.0 x4. An M.2 Interface is also available and accepts one PCI-E 3.0 x4.

There are many I/O ports on the Supermicro X11SCQ such as two RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, six USB 2.0 ports (2 rear + 4 headers) and six USB 3.1 ports (4 rears (2 Type A + 2 Type C) + 2 headers). Six COM Ports (6 headers) and TPM Header are also integrated on to the Motherboard. There are also three Independent Display ports; One DVI-D port, one HDMI port, one DP (Display Port) port and an eDP (Embedded Display Port) port.

The Supermicro X11SCV-Q Mini ITX Motherboard supports the 8th Generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron Processor. The 8th Generation Intel Core desktop processors are supported with Intel 300 Series chipset motherboards only. A maximum of 32GB Un-buffered non-ECC SO-DIMM, DDR4-2666MHz is supported. The Intel Q370 controller supports RAID 0,1,5,10 on the five SATA3 (6Gbps) ports. The Supermicro X11SCV-Q has two RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, four USB 2.0 ports (4 headers), six USB 3.1 ports (4 rears (2 Type A + 2 Type C) + 2 headers); USB 3.1 Gen 2. There are also six COM Ports (2 rear, 4 headers). Four COM port support RS-232 thru pin header and two COM Ports support RS-232/422/485 in the rear. There is a single PCI-E 3.0 x16, a M.2 M-Key PCI-E 3.0 x4, 2242/2280 and M.2 E-Key CNVi/PCI-E 3.0 x1, 2230. Three Independent Displays can be used while being connected to an HDMI 2.0 port, DVI - D port, HDMI port, DP (Display Port) port, or eDP (Embedded Display Port) port.
